It matters a whole lot! My faith and my family are my highest priorities. I’ve been married to my wife, Mary, since 2010 and we have three wonderful children who keep us plenty busy.
Snack bar at a golf course. It was a pretty standard food industry job, but it came with the added benefit of being able to golf for free at all the local city courses. Unfortunately, all the free golf didn’t seem to do much to improve my game!
Walking around the neighborhood with Mary. It’s a great way for us to connect with the added benefit of getting in a little exercise.
I grew up in a suburb a little north of Cincinnati. Now having lived in Texas for most of my adult life, I do find myself occasionally missing the change in seasons, being surrounded by Reds and Bengals fans, and Skyline Chili.
Doing something with my family. It could be anything from kids’ sporting activities to lounging around to catching up on household chores.
Whatever is being done “in the gloom” with F3 each day! F3 is a free men’s fitness group that meets outdoors in different locations across the city. I can generally count on some combination of calisthenics, running and strength training, but it’s peer led on a rotating basis and each day is a new adventure.
