My first job was as a Figure Skating Instructor. I fell in love with the sport in the 4th grade when a friend gave me a pair of figure skates she had outgrown. We went to the ice rink together and as I waddled around in my new skates, she gracefully showed me some cool tricks she learned – I instantly knew I NEEDED to learn how to do THAT! So, I started taking classes and after many years I was finally old enough to show other little ones how fun figure skating could be, too!
Though it feels like my list is always changing and growing, one of my earliest favorite reads is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
Even though I was born and raised in Hawaii, literally just a few minutes from the beach, it was only during the COVID-19 global pandemic that I finally learned to surf.
Probably outdoors – either at the pool, learning to golf, or on some dog-friendly side adventure with my Miniature Pinscher Hilo.
I enjoy anything that gets my body moving but doesn’t feel like a “traditional” gym workout, lately it has been rock climbing and yoga!
